Milagros🙌
Que tal todo?! Hope everyone is thriving!! This week was filled with miracles🤩 Such a tender mercy because it was me and Hermana Little's last week together💔 Im officially out of training and will be leading my area! My new comp is Hermana Gimenez from Argentina! So excited for this next transfer it should be fun
We've been teaching our friend Miguel who is on date for baptism and has been coming to church for the last 2 weeks. We finally were able to get a lesson with his family this week. I had the strongest promting we needed to teach restoration- which is NOT what we had planned.
Without telling my trainer I switched lessons (and being the capa Hermana Little is she caught on quick). The spirit was so strong as we talked about Joseph Smith and the restored church of Jesus Christ. We invited them all to be baptized and they said yes!! YAYAYAYA🥳 Keep them in your prayers!
Another favorite miracle from this week:
We were walking to an appointment one night and passed this man who looked so sad. I called after him and we started talking.
His name is pedro and he told us about his 11 year old daughter and how he was kind of going through a rough patch with work. We invited him to church and promised him the Lord is aware of his situation and will help him.
Later in the week we had a lesson with Pedro and he asked us to baptize him and his daughter!! He said he knew we were sent from God and explained how the next day after stopping him in the street he got a job. Seeing a blessing we promised actually happen was a huge faith builder for me. God is so good🥹
"32 For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient is the day unto the evil thereof." (3 Nephi 13)
God truly is in the details! I love how he is an "individual" God- He goes after the ONE. He knows you intimately and wants the very best for you. He understands your pain and is aware of the things you stand in need of. I know when we put Him first even when it means sacrificing a little time, money, or comfort, He will bless us in more ways than we can imagine
And for everyone in the US right now i hope you partied it up for me on 4th of July because that's my favorite holiday🥲🇺🇲🎇 also apparently the US is actually doing good in the World Cup can someone give me an update😭🙏
Love you all!

4 MONTHS🤩🤩🤩
Hi friends!! Google photos-https://photos.app.goo.gl/qQvpEJ4Dtju4s6av8
I hit 4 months as Hermana Coon🥳🥳 crazy!!
This week we met our friend Joan who is 18 years old from Venezuela. We teach A LOT of Cubans and Venezuelans which is so fun. We asked him to pray about the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith. His response was "yeah of course I will but I believe you guys" Great so lets baptize you ASAP!!
We also had 2 friends in church this week!! We met our friend Miguel late Saturday night and invited him to church ofc. The next day he walked an hour and came to church! We were in shock. And then our other friend Yaleimis also came! She is so so amazing and has stopped smoking in order to be baptized July 12th YAY! Please keep her in your prayers!! Awesome miracles this sunday!!
Shoutout the rat that ran over hermana little's foot in a lesson this week🙂🐀
I've made a goal to read Jesus the Christ by James E. Talmadge- almost an 800 page biography about our Savior, "... proclaiming Him as divine, the Son of the Living God, the Redeemer and Savior of the human race, the Eternal Judge of the souls of men, the Chosen and Anointed of the Father- in short, the Christ." I know He lives! This is His gospel and church restored on the earth. Because of Him we can overcome all in this life and receive exaultation in the life to co

Father Day 2026
Good morning Dad! Happy Father's Day to the best dad in the world! Im allowed to call home today probably around 5 pm your time for a little bit. Or tomorrow works too since it's pday.
Some things I love about you!
- I love your "work hard, play hard" mindset you have cultured into our family. I'm so blessed to have a dad who will go out and "slay the dragon" for me, but then also take us skiing, boating, and canam rides with our family. Thank you for working so hard to not just provide for my needs but my wants as well- going on a daddy daughter date for ice cream and a pair of shoes, paying for piano lessons, playing soccer, living in Europe, and now serving a mission. Thank you for everything you do for me and our family.
- I admire your love of reading and history. I think my love for history and reading began with you! I hope one day to be as good as a teacher and missionary you are. People look to you as a leader! In school I always wanted your help with my essays because you are so smart and always knew how to word things better.
- I'm so grateful to know my dad has always loved my mom. I know and have seen that you would do anything for her, and taught us girls to find someone who would "cherish" us the same way you cherish her. Thank you for putting your marriage first and being a team. What an amazing family we have because of you!
- Most of all your faith and testimony of Jesus Christ. How different would my life be if i had a "milk toast" dad. I have always known my dad put our Heavenly Father first. Watching you pray, paying tithing, being an STP (same 10 people) to clean the church, using your priesthood power in the home. So many things I have learned from you. I know my foundation of faith wouldn't be what it is today without the example of my faithful dad. "I, Nephi, having been born of goodly parents," (1 Nephi 1:1)
Happy Fathers Day Dad! I love you and miss you so much! Lets go on a date in a 14 months :)
Your Hannah BearGood morning Hannah!
Thank you for making me feel so good with your kind and thoughtful words! I really do love and appreciate who you are. I always have loved “making a memory” with you. 😁
9pm your time or 5pm our time works great today. I look forward to hearing about your week and about the challenges and successes you have been experiencing. We have been praying specifically that you will receive the desires of your heart, according to His will.
I love Elder Bednar’s message about Free Agency and Choice. I have always understood that there are multiple choices that can be made because we have that freedom. However, there is really only one choice and when we choose the Savior, all other choices go away. His way gives joy and comfort with everlasting happiness. If we “choose” not to follow Him, a whole miriade of worldly choices are laid before us.
We celebrated our 35th anniversary yesterday! You probably hear this a lot but it has been a fast journey with “My Jilly” she has been my favorite gift that keeps on giving! Our Sealer asked, “Grant, why is that dress so pretty?” “Because my Jilly is in it.” You will have that same gift with a valiant Eternal Companion! It’s just the best!
We were supposed to do early morning Sealings and head up to Payson for a cool hike and buy eclair pastries (premarital date) but I awakened with some food poisoning symptoms. Needless to say, we stayed home for some home Honey Do’s. 😳 We will do a formal celebration a little later.
You are not only in my prayers but you are constantly on my mind. I think of the unique challenges and experiences you’re having. The Lord has blessed you with the wisdom of his divinity. You have been able to express that wisdom with grace and power. It’s a special talent you have been given.
I know you are working hard and doing what the Lord expects. He does not expect perfection, just a willing heart and mind. He makes up the rest. Work hard and play hard.
I love you so much, wish I could be your mission comp for a week or more. We would tare it up.
Love Your Dad!

BUENAS!! Hope you all are doing amazing!! Fotos- https://photos.app.goo.gl/qQvpEJ4Dtju4s6av8
Cambios are this week again which means I'm almost done with training and will officially be a "greenie"!! These last few weeks in Montevideo Villa Muñoz with Hermana Little have flown by- im about to hit 4 months as a missionary!🤯
This last week has been "El Mundial" -The World Cup!!⚽️⚽️ Whenever Uruguay plays the whole city shuts down😂 We were instructed to go home early on gamedays. At night in my apartment we can hear screaming, sirens, yeah Uruguay LOVES their fútbol. I'm a little salty we're not allowed to watch the game haha
Some fun moments from the past few weeks:
- During a street contact first thing this guy says to me is that I look Australian shoutout Aussies🤙
- I got called a native this week LETS GO🙏
- Stopped this guy in the street who told us we "talk pretty" I'll take that as my spanish is improving and not bc I have an accent😭
-taught a lesson in a psychiatric facility🙂
- had a tweaker and homeless person in church this week which hey everyone is welcome so a win is a win!🫶
We've had some amazing friends this transfer!! We met our friend Franco this week through a member and he is SO GOOD. While in a lesson with him, before we even extended the invitation to be baptized he goes "I want to be baptized. When can I be baptized? Hows tomorrow?" Hermana Little started dying laughing because my jaw dropped so fast. I have never seen anyone so ready and receptive to the gospel. It was the coolest experience. Please pray that Franco can come to church this week and continue to progress towards baptism!!
Here in the city we meet a LOT of people who simply don't believe in God, which is something I've never really experienced before and honestly so sad.
"...all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all the things that are upon the face of it, yeah, and its motion, yea and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator" (Alma 30:33)
I'm so grateful to have the knowledge of a Supreme Creator- our Heavenly Father who created all things. YOU being his most precious creation, so much that he sent His Son Jesus Christ to make it possible to return to Him. I love having the opportunity each day to testify He lives, and His church is restored on the earth today!
Send me an email i'd love to hear from you!
Love you all!
