Greenie or Gringa?

Opa another week cómo andan todos? This week was cambio week which is always really long and a bit crazy but we roll with it🫠 First things first my new comp Hermana Gimenez! She doesnt speak english but that just means my spanish is about to be fire. We actually get along really well shes super sweet and a quick learner. I'm leading the area and training her in references and social media for the mission. So if you see an ad on facebook of missionaries in Uruguay just know i posted that😉 Secondly- hermana gimenez and i BOTH have 4 months in the mission. We just got out of training which means we're greenie breaking together!😆 Yeah kinda crazy but we're making it work!! Finally... WE HAD 5 AMIGOS IN CHURCH THIS WEEK AND YALEIMY WAS BAPTIZED WOOOOHOOO. Que milagros!!!🥹🥹🥹 she came out of the water smiling so big but shivering because the water was cold😭 We met Yaleimy on the street a few weeks ago and she actually rejected us at first😭But then a few days later sent a visit request from facebook! So we started teaching her and being able to see the light and happiness in her grow was the most fulfilling experience. And our friend Pedro and his daughter are on date for baptism and officially have an asistencia so please pray that they continue to progress and get baptized hopefully next week VAMO ARRIBA🥳 I also gave a talk in church on sunday about la oracion y revelación personal- which was fitting because never in my life have I spent more time on my knees in prayer than I have on my mission. Praying for the gift of tongues, for our friends by name one by one, praying for strength to walk just one more mile, for courage to open my mouth and talk to someone walking past. Its been humbling for sure, but I do know the Lord is with us in the midst of the "refiner’s fire". 27 "And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them."
